We get asked loads of questions about our services - here are some of the most common - if you have no luck finding your answer here please contact our customer services who will always be pleased to help you find the answer to your query:
What is so great about your service?
Our independent review services are second to none. We examine in great detail all aspects of a writing service’s site so that we can make our recommendations. We take student, writer, support staff and independent academic views into account when we do this so that you have a spread of opinions to go by.
How do I know that the tutors / writers are qualified?
The best essay services give biographies of their writers and allow you to contact them directly. These details should be available freely. You can always ask for specific details of customer services.
Will my school or college accept these essays?
These essays are prepared and written outside of any connection with your school or college - there is no reason for them to know that this work is not your own. It is best practice not to advertise to friends and fellow students your use of such services. This way, should you ever fall out, or should they have cause to want to disclose this to your school or college for any reason, the fact that you used an essay writing service will not be known to them.
What is the attitude to having a paper written by such services?
As in all areas of life; some people are fine with it others regard it as cheating. There is a sound educational argument for such services. Ome students are increasingly going abroad from their native countries to study in English speaking ones. Their level of written English may not be of a standard which allows them to communicate their ideas properly onto paper at higher levels of education.
For example, a chemistry, physics, math or computing student may know their subject really well in their own language but not be able to convey that in written English. This is a valid reason for engaging such services - it levels the playing field and enables the students to put across their knowledge and understanding in a way that would not be available to them should these services not exist.
Some sites will not give these details - why?
Some essay writing service sites claim that they are preserving the anonymity of their writers. Be careful of this type of answer and double check whether the writer is really qualified for your task.
How are essay papers priced?
Essay papers prices usually depend on a number of common factors: how long the writer has to prepare it - a paper with a short deadline will be more expensive than one with a longer timeframe. The academic level - a high school paper will be cheaper than a doctoral thesis as it is far less complicated and involved. The number of pages - obviously, the more pages, the more expensive the essay. Finally, the subject has a bearing, a simple generic subject will be less expensive than a specialistic and rarified subject.
Can I see a sample of the work I can expect?
Many essay companies do show a range of sample paper extracts on their pages for you to peruse. Others will allow you to download actual examples written by a specific writer so that you can see their exact style - although these are usually charged for.
How much do you need to know when I order a paper?
The essay company would ask that you give as much detail as possible; this not only helps with the pricing but it enables them to find the best qualified, and most suitable writer for the paper you are wanting written.
Will I be able to contact my writer directly?
This is not always something essay writing companies allow. Some are adamant that they want to preserve the anonymity of their authors others freely show biographies and other details of the writers and allow, (and actively encourage) interaction between student and writer. It is a personal choice as to which is “better” and which is not.
How do I get my paper corrected if I am not happy with it?
This is one of the most contentious areas of dealing with essay writing services.
Be clear, from the start, what the revisions policy of the company you deal with, is.
This is vitally important as some companies will only allow a certain number of revisions, others will restrict revisions by only allowing a window of seven or fourteen days in which to have work corrected.
Companies rely on your initial instructions and if you have not made something clear in those you cannot expect your writer to be a mind reader. If your company offers contact with the writer make sure to be in touch early to check that your writer is on the right track.
Once the essay is finished, or close to finishing, before you query it or decide that you do not like the direction in which it is going; you may find that it is too late to do anything about it.
Can I ask for a draft, or an outline of my essay first?
Yes. Some companies will do this - it is in their interests to do so, as it reduces the chance of disputes and misunderstandings between students and their writers. It is far easier to discuss and correct an outline than it is to alter a complete section of an essay.
What happens if I really don’t like the final essay?
This is where it is important to find a company, from the start, that has a free revision policy and that there are no catches to this. Most essay writing companies will stick to the line that they have provided a paper which is well written, answers your specified requirements, and fulfills the description that you gave - you can see the importance of those initial instructions being spot on - these requirements are all the essay company is obliged to provide.
How often will the company allow me to revise the essay?
This varies from company to company; some will allow unlimited revisions, sothers will allow unlimited revisions, but will restrict them to seven or fourteen days after the paper is delivered to you, others will allow revisions only a certain number of times.
Make sure you know what the policy of your chosen company is, and that you are happy with this, before you engage them.
How can I be sure that my essay has not been copied?
It is simply not worth a legitimate essay writing company allowing copied, (or plagiarised) work to be released to students. The reputation and custom of the business would never recover from such an incident.
The consequences of submitting a plagiarized piece of work are substantial; so it is worth investing in your own plagiarism checking software, (Copyscape, for example) and double checking what the essay writing company are telling you. This precaution is well worth taking to avoid any mistakes or unintended omissions or inclusions.
Can I be sure that my tutors will not find out about my use of these services?
Yes; if you use a reputable company to prepare your work this should not be an issue. A good company will have an encrypted website, and destroy any paper and any record of such a paper having been written once the contract has finished. This avoids any possibility of the paper ever surfacing where it should not, or any third party being aware of its existence.
Are your reviews genuine?
Of course. It would be pointless putting false reviews up - as soon as you had tried our service you would know that it was no good - there are many independent sites like Trustpilot, Jabber, manta and GlassDoor - you would soon see us flagged up if the reviews were, in any way, wrong or inaccurate.
Who writes the reviews on your website?
Our reviews are written by students and other past users of our services. We ask all our clients to give us feedback after having dealt with us. We check the reviews for spelling and for anything that may cause offence and then post them. The comments are not edited or altered in any way.
How often are the reviews updated?
We update our reviews every two weeks or so. We feel that it is important to make sure that our comments and the services that we research are up to date and accurate - you rely on these and we take the responsibility of being current very seriously.
Can the information you put up be trusted?
What would be the point of putting up information that was wrong? You would find out, with one click of a mouse, that our information was incorrect. Our researchers go to great lengths to ensure that our information is accurate and reflects the true attitude of the contributors and commentators making up the review.
We hope that this has covered the main points you may have questions about; if these do not answer you questions or if you have any queries about matters which are not covered here please contact our customer services who would be delighted to clarify anything you need to know.
